You can reach Leipzig by plane with direct flights from the cities Frankfurt and Munich (approx. 1 hour).

Furthermore, Leipzig is easily accessible by train from Berlin main train station (1 hour), Hamburg main train station (3 hours), Frankfurt Airport (3,5 hours) and Munich main train station (4,5 hours).

Arriving by plane

Taking the plane you can fly directly from Frankfurt and Munich to Leipzig/Halle airport. Travelling with Air France you can fly directly from Paris to Leipzig/Halle. Nevertheless, there is an hourly train service from Frankfurt airport, Munich and Berlin to Leipzig.

Arriving by train

With Deutsche Bahn's rail services, you can enjoy an environmentally friendly, inexpensive and stress-free journey to the trade fair city of Leipzig. The main railway station is located right in the centre of the city and is one of Europe's largest and most modern stations.

The travel centre at Leipzig Central station is open daily until 10pm and the service point on the concourse is open around the clock.

To get from the main railway station to the Leipzig Trade Fair, take the local train, Airport Express service, tram or taxi. Information is available at the service point.
